To the kindest soul I have ever known. We found each other at the shelter, but it was you who saved me. My life will never be the same again - your presence filled me with constant joy, and your passing fills me with deep sorrow. Until we see each other again... Dear Stanley - It's been almost a week, and the pain is still fresh in my heart. I so miss coming home to you at night, and the way you would howl and wag your tail when seeing me. I also loved the way you would bury your head in my lap and just wait to have your neck scratched (that was your favorite!). I hope you are having fun sniffing around and rolling in the warm grass.
